“Step into this experience with butterflies in your bones; with a nervous feeling so beautiful, you know you’re doing something right.”

1-2) Sweet, small moments

3) If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw that Colin’s cousin, Adam, came to San Jose to hang out with us on Monday! Adam is from Colorado, lives in Puerto Rico, and is currently flying his own plane all around the US to get some hours in. We haven’t seen Adam in about 3 years, so it was extra fun to spend some time with him for just under 24 hours :) Thanks again for coming, Adam. See you soon!

4-5) These are two examples of my virtual “waiting in line” experiences this week. The first is from Hamilton, which comes to San Francisco in February! I was placed number 22,932 in line, so I waited from 10am-1:30pm to get a chance to buy tickets and WE GOT THEM!!! WE’RE GOING TO SEE HAMILTON IN THE SPRING!!!!!!!!!

I can’t even handle it. We’re coming up on 3 years of my love of Hamilton, and I’ll finally get to actually see it.

The second is from my queue for the new Robert Galbraith (J.K. Rowling’s pen name) novel, Lethal White, from my library. I’ve mentioned this before here, but I love the audiobook versions of these books, so I’m patiently (and sometimes not-so-patiently) waiting to get my ears on it. The last book ended with a huge cliff-hanger, and it’s been over 3 years since that came out, so I’m really really ready for this!

6-7) I had so much fun yesterday getting to help my friend, Liza, on a water shoot! She rigged up a big “tub” in her backyard and filled it with water, milk, and flowers. That was the backdrop, and it was so dreamy! I strongly encourage you to click on her name up there and check out some of her work. I’m in love.

This weekend we’re carving a pumpkin, saying goodbye to some sweet friends moving away from the Bay, and going to the beach! I hope your weekend is magical.

xx
