Friday Phone Dump
“Take notice of what light does — to everything”
1-8) Just the trademark sweet little moments I like to photograph with my phone…as you know…if you usually show up for Friday Phone Dumps :)
9-23) We got to spend a day in San Francisco wandering just the two of us (which we haven’t gotten to do in awhile), and it was as dreamy as ever. I’ll never get over the tiny artistic details in ever little corner of that place.
24) One of many photos of Bozeman sleeping haha
25-26) Our sweet friends and neighbors, Shannon and Joel, gave us tickets to a Sharks Game they couldn’t go to, and it was really fun! I don’t really know anything about hockey, but we definitely haven’t been to enough local sporting events since we moved here. Thanks for the tickets, friends!
27-29) Soaking up Fall featuring the pumpkin cookies I made that were taunting me while I worked and while they cooled - yummmmmm
30) The photo I sent my brother to tell him that Halloweentown was streaming for 24 hours on YouTube :) We used to love that movie when we were kids!
31-34) Pretty light and a chance to have a quick coffee with my dear dear friend, Kelsey. She was passing through the SJ airport on her way to move to Hawaii, and even though I only saw her for about 30 minutes, it was still so special. Love you, Kels!
35-40) On Halloween we went to a Harry Potter Trivia Night with a few of our sweet friends, and we got 4th place out of 39 teams!!! It was so so fun, and anytime I get to pretend to be Luna Lovegood is a good time indeed :)
41-49) More little moments and sleepy/needy pups
50-54) We got to host our first California Friendsgiving in our apartment which was the very very sweetest moment of our time here so far. I feel so grateful for all of these people. PS - the Friendsgiving photos are a mix of phone and DSLR photos just in case you’re wondering why they look so different. And as usual, I didn’t take that many photos or worry much about the quality since I was focusing on the party!
55-57) Noëmi and James helped us move the tables and chairs we rented in and out of our apartment, so when they came back on Saturday morning to take them back, we got to have a mini puppy playdate with baby Caya.
58-60) :)
61) Another group of people I’m so so grateful for is this lovely group that meets to discuss the podcast Harry Potter and the Sacred Text (which I would highly recommend for HP fans and non-fans alike). I’ve been listening to the podcast since it came out in 2015, and this year I joined my local group to read through the books and discuss them in person. It’s been so special, and this weekend we met up to watch the 2nd movie together too. Yay for small groups!
62-71) More Fall details featuring Colin’s black and white photo of the train he took earlier this week. I love it!
This weekend we’ll be visiting the new Everlane store in Palo Alto and getting some chores done after Friendsgiving. I hope your weekend is full of good books and warm drinks and people you love.
xx
