Friday Phone Dump
“I quieted my life
Until the only thing I could hear
Was the sound that blood makes in your body
When you’re still enough & listen
And the tapping of rain on the windowsill
And the simmer of sage leaves as they coil
The familiar clicking of a keyboard
And the steeliness of a frigid afternoon
Each of these an encryption
Reminding me what matters
Telling me where to go”

1-4) At-home moments including watching Pixar shorts on Disney Plus (including “For the Birds” which is basically a bunch of squeaky toy sounds. Bozeman could not handle it) and taking a selfie to show my coworker my new beret from Everlane - I love it!
5-6) Colin sent me photos of these beautiful trees near his office. We do have amazing Fall colors here :)
7-20) We rented a car and went up to Berkeley to hike a bit (and eat tacos with a great view) and it was lovely as always. This is something we’ve been meaning to do more often, so every time we do we’re so happy!
21-23) The last of the Fall sunshine before the rain started. I love Bay Area weather and the sun, but it’s always nice once the rainy season finally arrives :)
24) Our Thanksgiving Feast we made for just the two of us featuring deviled eggs, cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole (my favorite), cranberry sauce, and chicken. It was delicious, and of course, we have lots of leftovers to enjoy.
This weekend we’re busy with a friend’s birthday party and a day in San Francisco doing some Christmas shopping and seeing more friends ♥️ I hope your Thanksgiving was warm and lovely if you celebrated, and I hope your weekend is just the same.
xx
